Job Description: We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Behaviour Mentor to join our dynamic team. As a Behaviour Mentor, you will play a pivotal role in promoting positive behavior and creating a conducive learning environment for our students. Your work will contribute to our mission of fostering personal growth and academic excellence in our school community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work one-on-one or in small groups with students who may require additional support with their behavior, emotional regulation, or social skills.
- Develop and implement behavior intervention plans and strategies to support students’ emotional and behavioral development.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to create a holistic approach to behavior management.
- Act as a positive role model, demonstrating appropriate behavior and communication.
- Help students build self-esteem, resilience, and self-confidence.
- Support the school’s commitment to maintaining a safe and inclusive learning environment.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience working as a Behavior Mentor or in a similar role.
- Strong understanding of behavior management strategies and positive behavior support.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Empathy, patience, and the ability to build positive relationships with students.
- Commitment to fostering a culture of respect and inclusion.
- Relevant qualifications in behavior management or a related field are desirable.
