Position Overview: As a Behaviour Mentor within a PRU, your role is pivotal in nurturing a culture of respect and academic growth. You will be instrumental in guiding students facing behavioural challenges towards positive choices, ensuring they reach their full potential both academically and personally.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement effective behavior management strategies.
• Provide one-on-one mentoring and support to students.
• Collaborate closely with teachers and staff in maintaining a harmonious classroom atmosphere.
• Contribute to the creation of tailored behavior improvement plans.
• Offer emotional support and constructive feedback to students.
• Keep detailed records of interventions and progress.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Behaviour Mentor, ideally within a PRU or similar environment.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to engage and build trust with students.
• Demonstrated empathy, patience, and a non-judgmental approach.
• Effective team player.
• Relevant qualifications or training in behavior management will be an advantage.
