Position Overview: As a Behaviour Mentor in our Sutton PRU, you’ll play a pivotal role in cultivating a culture of respect and academic growth. Your primary responsibility is to guide students facing behavioral challenges toward making constructive choices, ensuring they unlock their full potential both academically and personally.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement effective behavior management strategies.
• Provide personalized mentoring and support to students.
• Collaborate closely with teachers and staff to maintain a harmonious classroom environment.
• Contribute to the creation of tailored behavior improvement plans.
• Offer compassionate support and constructive feedback to students.
• Maintain meticulous records of interventions and progress.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Behaviour Mentor, preferably within a PRU or similar educational setting.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
• The ability to engage with and build trust among students.
• Demonstrated empathy, patience, and a non-judgmental approach.
• Effective team player.
• Relevant qualifications or training in behavior management are advantageous.
