Behaviour Mentor | Immediate Start
Our partnered school in Streatham is currently looking to recruit a Behaviour Mentor to join their team as soon as possible to support KS1 students with Challenging Behaviour, based in their SEN Hub.
The Role:
The Behaviour Mentor position focuses on aiding students with special educational needs (SEN) in their transition back to mainstream classrooms. Ideal candidates will have prior experience working with students in Key Stage 1 who have autism, ADHD, and behavioural challenges. As a mentor, the role will involve helping these students overcome their behavioural issues and serving as a positive example for them to follow. The mentor will work full-time, providing support for both behaviour and learning both inside and outside of the classroom.
The Ideal Candidate:
We are seeking a motivated individual with a passion for making a positive impact on the lives of disadvantaged children. The ideal candidate will have the ability to inspire those around them and have a background in SEN, particularly with experience in ASD/ADHD and challenging behaviour. Additional experience in the following areas would be highly desirable: learning support, SEMH, sport coaching, and teaching assistance.

Requirements:
- Availability to attend an interview and trial period for long-term positions.
- Possession of a Child Workforce DBS (registered on the Update Service) or willingness to apply for one.
