Job Summary:

• £90 – £100 per day, PAYE

Here at Ortus Recruitment we are seeking an experienced behaviour mentor to start immediately at one of our thriving mainstream primary school.

This is a rewarding long term role with an opportunity for career progression and CPD Courses to further educational knowledge.

Must have:

• Experience working with children, ideally managing challenging behaviour in a classroom or social setting
• An enhanced child workforce DBS on the update service or be willing to process one through Ortus Recruitment – £52
• Two obtainable childcare relevant references.

Within this role you will be working across the whole of KS2, supporting class teachers in various classrooms where needed. You will have a floating role, you will not be assigned to one single classroom, you will lead 1:1 and small group interventions where necessary, as well as implementing behaviour strategies.

• Great interpersonal and communication skills
• ‘A can do’ attitude to working
• Patience and the ability to think quickly on your feet
• Confidence in leading 1:1 and small group interventions
