A dedicated SEMH specialist school in Norbury is looking for a dynamic Behaviour Mentor to guide pupils, helping them overcome barriers to education and achieve their goals.
The Role:
You will mentor pupils, offering tailored support to address their emotional and behavioural challenges and promoting positive educational experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work with pupils individually or in small groups to address SEMH needs.
- Implement behaviour plans and restorative approaches to resolve conflicts.
- Help pupils build confidence, self-esteem, and emotional resilience.
- Support engagement in classroom activities and structured interventions.
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and external professionals.
About You:
- Experience in supporting pupils with SEMH or similar behavioural challenges.
- Knowledge of behaviour management strategies and restorative practices.
- A positive, patient, and determined approach to helping young people succeed.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build trust with pupils.
