Location: Norbury, Croydon, Greater London
Salary: £90 – £100 per day (depending on experience)
Contract Type: Full-Time, Term-Time Only

Do you have the determination to support pupils with social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) challenges?
A dedicated SEMH specialist school in Norbury is looking for a dynamic Behaviour Mentor to guide pupils, helping them overcome barriers to education and achieve their goals.

The Role:
You will mentor pupils, offering tailored support to address their emotional and behavioural challenges and promoting positive educational experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with pupils individually or in small groups to address SEMH needs.
  • Implement behaviour plans and restorative approaches to resolve conflicts.
  • Help pupils build confidence, self-esteem, and emotional resilience.
  • Support engagement in classroom activities and structured interventions.
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and external professionals.

About You:

  • Experience in supporting pupils with SEMH or similar behavioural challenges.
  • Knowledge of behaviour management strategies and restorative practices.
  • A positive, patient, and determined approach to helping young people succeed.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build trust with pupils.
