Ortus Recruitment are seeking for a Behaviour Mentor to join our mainstream primary school with an ‘Outstanding’ Ofsted report. The primary school is based in Wandsworth Common and has good transportation links. Behaviour Mentor candidates will need excellent behavioural management skills and have experience working with challenging students within KS1/2. This role is a Full-Time position (Monday to Friday 08:30am- 16:00pm).

This is a fulfilling position, and you will be a valuable member to the team with the support you will be providing to the vulnerable pupils. This offers you the perfect opportunity to get your foot into a professional environment and be a perfect role model for the pupils; you will also be given support along the way by senior members of the school.

The ideal candidate:

• Have a passion to want to work with young people who need help
• Someone looking to gain valuable experience working with SEMH students, such as an aspiring rehabilitation officer or social worker.
• Available to start immediately
• Available to work in Wandsworth
• Behaviour Support Worker role
• £75-£90 per day PAYE
• Excellent behavioural management skills
• Comfortable dealing with challenging behaviour
• Level 3+ or degree desired in Criminology, Sociology, Physical Education, Maths, English and Psychology ideally but similar would be considered.
• Experience is desirable not essential.
