Ortus Recruitment are working with a mainstream primary school in Wimbledon and they are recruiting a Behaviour Mentor to commit to a full time-long term role, starting in September. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a primary school setting and experience working with challenging behaviour.

The ideal candidate will be required to work in a year 5 class, 1:1 with a pupil who needs classroom support. The candidate will need to help the pupil maintain concentration and calm behaviour in class and help them have a positive attitude to learning. The pupil needs movement breaks in between lessons as they can become quite restless, so the candidate will need to be comfortable with moving around the school building regularly and partake in sports activities with the pupil.
