Position: Full-time Behaviour Mentor
Location: Brixton, London
Salary: £85 – £105 per day PAYE (Based on qualifications/experience)
Start Date: Immediate

We are seeking a passionate and resilient Behaviour Mentor to support a Year 5 pupil with challenging behaviour in a mainstream primary school located in Brixton. This role is ideal for someone who can positively influence behaviour and foster a nurturing learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work 1:1 with a pupil who requires additional behavioural support within the classroom.
• Implement behaviour management strategies tailored to the child’s specific needs.
• Assist the class teacher in creating a structured and supportive learning environment.
• Monitor and record progress, providing regular feedback to staff and parents.

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Behaviour Mentor or similar role in a primary school setting.
• Strong interpersonal and de-escalation skills.
• Understanding of behaviour management techniques and emotional support strategies.
• Commitment to helping children overcome barriers to learning.
• Can commit to working hours (08:30 am – 16:00 pm, Monday to Friday TTO)
