The ideal candidate will have experience managing challenging behaviour, in a professional setting, and experience working alongside SEN learners. A strong academic background is vital so the successful candidate can work 1:1 with students, helping them develop their academic skills. If you apply for this role you need to be able to commit to Full – time – long term work , Monday – Friday, 8:30am-4pm.

The main responsibility of the candidate will be to support a year 3 student with challenging behaviour. The main role will be to help the student maintain focus in class and to ensure the student has a positive mindset throughout the day. You will be responsible for taking the pupil on movement breaks around the school and during lesson to help them regain concentration. You will also be required to have a close relationship with the teacher and parents of the student, so you can give feedback about their progress in their studies.
