Ortus Recruitment is excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated and experienced CACHE Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join our partnered primary school in Vauxhall. This is a full-time, temporary role starting ASAP and running until the end of the academic year, offering the chance to make a real impact in a vibrant school community.

Position Details:

• Location: Vauxhall, London
• Position: CACHE Level 3 Teaching Assistant
• Type of Work: Supporting teachers by leading lessons, managing classroom behaviour, assessing student progress, and providing targeted interventions
• Start Date: ASAP
• Contract Type: Temporary (Full-time)
• Hours: 8:30 am – 4:00 pm, Monday to Friday (Term Time Only)
• Minimum Rate of Pay: £85 – £105 per day PAYE

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead lessons and support the class teacher in delivering the curriculum.
• Manage classroom behaviour to ensure a positive, focused learning environment.
• Assess student progress and provide tailored interventions to support individual learning needs.
• Assist in the delivery of special educational needs (SEN) provisions and support strategies.

Experience, Training, and Qualifications:

• CACHE Level 3 qualification (or equivalent)
• Minimum of 1 year of experience working in a UK school setting
• Up-to-date Safeguarding training completed within the last year

To be eligible for this role, candidates must:

• Hold the Right to Work in the UK
• Have an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
• Provide two professional child-related references covering at least the last two years
