About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated, enthusiastic, and nurturing CACHE Level 3 qualified Teaching Assistant to join our vibrant EYFS team at a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Willesden. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about supporting young learners in their early development and education.

As part of our EYFS team, you will work closely with class teachers to provide a safe, stimulating, and fun learning environment for children aged 3–5. You’ll play a key role in helping children reach their full potential by supporting their learning, behaviour, and emotional wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the class teacher in delivering high-quality, child-centred education in line with the EYFS framework
• Assist in planning and leading engaging, age-appropriate activities
• Provide 1:1 and group support for children with varying abilities, including those with SEN
• Monitor and record pupil progress, contributing to assessments and observations
• Help maintain a safe and nurturing learning environment
• Promote positive behaviour and inclusion across the classroom
• Build strong relationships with pupils, staff, and parents

Requirements:

• CACHE Level 3 Diploma in Supporting Teaching and Learning (or equivalent qualification)
• Previous experience working in an EYFS setting
• Strong understanding of the EYFS curriculum and safeguarding practices
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Passion for supporting the learning and development of young children
• A proactive, patient, and caring approach

Desirable:

• Paediatric First Aid qualification
• Experience supporting children with additional needs
• Knowledge of phonics programmes (e.g., Read Write Inc.)
