Ortus Recruitment are seeking an experienced Teaching Assistant specializing in behavioural issues for our partner school located in the London Borough of Camden.

The school has excellent facilities, is local to great transportation links and has a friendly and experienced leadership team of specialists to support you.

This role presents the opportunity to expand on your experience working with SEN, to help children with a range of complex needs, as well as work with children on a one-to-one and small group basis when required.

The role will require:

• A patient and sensitive approach
• Strong behaviour management skills
• Following individual plans for students
• Ability to work well within a team

Applicants must:

• Have experience in SEN (desirable)
• Have an understanding of the Key Stage 1 and 2 curriculum
• Have an Enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to apply for one
• Hold a relevant teaching qualification; CACHE level 3/ Degree
• Provide 2 References
• Have at least 3 months classroom experience
