Ortus Recruitment are excited to present a Teaching Assistant opportunity in an inclusive, diverse and thriving mainstream Primary School located in the London Borough of Croydon! This 3 form entry school are seeking an individual who is experienced in supporting pupils with SEN, with strong behaviour management skills and a genuine passion for working with children who need additional support.

About the role:

The role is immediate start, long term, and provides the successful candidate with the opportunity to expand on their experience working with SEN children on a one-to-one and small group basis. The successful candidate will also be presented with the opportunity to secure a permanent position!

The ideal candidate:

The ideal candidate will be SEN experienced with strong behaviour management skills, with an enthusiastic and consistent approach, can-do attitude and a real passion for working with children.

Candidates must:

• Have strong behaviour management skills
• Have an enthusiastic, consistent, can-do approach
• Have at prior SEN experience
• Have a CACHE level 3 / relevant degree i.e. Psychology
• Have an enhanced DBS on the Update Service / Be willing to apply for one
• Proof of right to work in the UK
• Provide 2 references
