Ortus Recruitment are seeking an experienced Classroom Assistant based in the Lambeth area to support a KS2 class in one of our partnered primary schools. The school is a mainstream primary school situated in a vibrant area and has excellent transportation links. The successful candidate will need to have experience working with children one-to-one or in groups. Requirements:

• Graduate of a core subject (Maths, English, Science, Psychology, Drama)
• Experience working with children in a professional environment
• Experience working with SEN (desirable but not essential)
• Ability to develop positive relationships
• Excellent time management and organisational skills
• Ability to stay calm and objective when presented with unusual or challenging behaviour
