Ortus Recruitment is currently seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Classroom Assistant to join a highly regarded mainstream primary school in Putney, proudly rated ‘Outstanding’ by Ofsted. As a SEN Classroom Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting pupils with additional learning needs. You will work closely with class teachers to deliver engaging support, both 1:1 and in small groups, helping pupils to reach their full potential.

Key Details:

• Full-Time position (Monday to Friday, 08:30am – 4:00pm)
• Location: Putney
• Daily Rate: £89 – £105 PAYE

Ideal Candidate:

• Confident supporting pupils across KS1 and KS2
• Clear communicator with the ability to engage and motivate learners
• Passionate about supporting children with SEN
• Proactive, patient, and reliable

Requirements:

• Experience working in a primary school or with primary-aged children
• Degree in a core subject (highly desirable)
• Ability to provide two professional references
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply for one
