About the role:

**Must be able to commit to a full-time & long-term role (Monday – Friday, 8:30am – 4:00pm)**

The school is currently looking to recruit a Classroom Assistant with experience working with SEN children. The ideal candidate will be expected to support the teacher in the classroom, this would be by leading interventions with small groups such as guided reading, numeracy and literacy or overall classroom/behaviour management. You will also be required to work on a 1:1 basis with SEN children when necessary, to aid in their emotional, social and acedemic development.

Main Expectations:

• 3+ months classroom experience or experience working with children with SEN
• Minimum 2:2 grade in Psychology, English, Education or other relevant degree
• Cache Level 3 qualified
• Strong communication skills
• Understanding of the curriculum
• Must be able to provide: an enhanced DBS (or willing to apply for one through Ortus Recruitment), proof of Right to Work in the UK and 2 references
