Ortus Recruitment is partnering with an ‘Outstanding’ Ofsted rated mainstream primary school based in Wandsworth, to find experienced Classroom Assistants to provide support to a KS1 class. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a nurturing and stimulating environment for students, with a school that prides itself on the quality of the education they provide to students.

Responsibilities

• Providing one-on-one support to pupils
• Assisting in the planning and delivery of lessons
• Supporting pupils with potential barriers to learning
• Helping pupils develop their literacy and numeracy skills
• Assisting with the management of classroom behaviour

Requirements

• Previous experience working with children
• Knowledge of primary age range
• Excellent literacy and numeracy skills
• A positive attitude towards working with children
• An ability to work well as part of a team

This is a full-time position, Monday to Friday, 08:30am to 16:00pm, at a day rate of £80 – £90 per day based on experience (PAYE, with no hidden deductions to your payments).
