Position Overview:

We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Key Stage 2 Classroom Assistant to join the team. In this rewarding role, you will work closely with class teachers to support children with diverse learning needs, ensuring they have the tools and encouragement to thrive both academically and personally.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with teachers to implement tailored support strategies for students with learning difficulties or additional needs
• Deliver focused one-on-one and small group support, reinforcing classroom learning and building key academic skills
• Adapt learning materials and resources to ensure accessibility for all students
• Create a nurturing, inclusive classroom environment where students feel safe, respected, and motivated
• Track student progress and provide regular feedback to teachers and parents/guardians

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience working with children, ideally in an educational or school setting
• A warm, patient, and compassionate approach to supporting young learners
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills – able to work collaboratively with staff, pupils, and families
