They are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and motivated Year 2 Teaching Assistant to be an integral and committed member of their team. You will work closely with the Class Teacher and other staff to provide high-quality care and education for children.
As a Teaching Assistant, you will have the following responsibilities:
Roles and responsibilities
Observing, assessing, and recording the children’s progress and development.
Assisting the class teacher during lesson time.
Creating a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment that promotes children’s well-being and happiness.
Contributing to the continuous improvement of the nursery and the school.
Ensuring a positive can-do attitude.
To build and maintain successful relationships with pupils, treat them consistently, with respect and consideration.
To help promote independent learning.
You will be responsible for providing support and assistance to the pupils, whether it be in a group or 1:1 setting, as well as supporting the class teacher.
To be considered for this role, you will need to have:
A level 2 or 3 qualification.
Experience of teaching across the primary age range and curriculum.
An enhanced DBS checks.
