Ortus Recruitment are currently working with a mainstream primary school in the London Borough of Lambeth, who are seeking for experienced and passionate Classroom Assistant to join their team for a September Start. The primary school has an ‘Outstanding’ Ofsted report; now they are seeking for a classroom assistant to support a class with 32 students.

The ideal candidate:

• 1 year experience working with children/ young people in a professional environment, e.g., Youth Work | Mentoring | Tutoring | Childcare | Voluntarily
• Degrees in Maths, English, Sciences, Psychology, Education, Drama and Performing Arts are ideal, we welcome applicants with degrees beyond this or relevant qualifications for working with children
• Be friendly, confident, outgoing, reliable and be a positive role model
• A genuine interest and passion working with young vulnerable pupil
• Be available full-time (Monday-Friday 8.30am-4pm)
