Ortus Recruitment are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Classroom Assistant, with experience working with young children (KS1 and KS2), in a professional setting. Our partnered primary school is a two -form entry school with a ‘Good’ Ofsted rating, searching from someone who can support the students within a classroom, work flexibly and well within a team.

This role will be a Full-Time position, which requires an individual who will commit to working from Monday – Friday, from 08:30am – 4pm, till the end of the academic year.

Qualification and experience :

• A degree or relevant qualifications in Education, Maths, English, Sciences, Psychology, Drama, or Performing Arts or related field
• Strong understanding of working with children/ young people, e.g., Youth Work, Mentoring, Tutoring, Childcare, Voluntarily
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a tea
• Must be able to undergo a full Enhanced DBS check
