A mainstream Primary School are looking for a motivated Classroom Assistant to, join their team, supporting children in their education and committed to a full time – long term role. The school is a short walk from Surbiton station which makes it easy to commute to, and also close to the high street where all the food shop are.

The role :

• Position : Classroom Assistant
• Location : Surbiton
• Full time – long term
• Immediate start
• £80-£90 per day

Within this role the candidate will be required to help the teacher plan lessons, prepare the classroom and help manage the class behaviour. You will work with students in small groups helping them develop academic, emotional and social skills through games and learning activities. Alongside other members of staff, you will be helping out at lunch and break ensuring all students are happy and safe, and that their emotional, social and physical needs are being met.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with students in a professional setting, specifically primary ages. You will need the ability to be resilient throughout the day and keep a positive mindset so that you can help the children reach their full potential,  even when the day gets challenging. The candidate applying for this role needs a strong academic background so they are able to support the children in their education.
