We are looking for a committed and nurturing Teaching Assistant to join our welcoming and diverse primary school in the heart of Croydon. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of our pupils, supporting their learning journey in a vibrant and inclusive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work closely with class teachers to support teaching and learning across the curriculum.
• Provide one-to-one or small group support for pupils, including those with special educational needs (SEND).
• Assist in the planning and preparation of classroom activities and resources.
• Foster positive relationships with pupils, encouraging engagement and confidence.
• Support classroom management and help to maintain a positive learning environment.
• Supervise pupils during breaktimes, lunchtimes, and school trips as needed.

What We’re Looking For:

• Previous experience working with children in a school or similar setting is highly desirable.
• A caring and proactive approach to supporting children’s educational and emotional needs.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with staff and families.
• A relevant qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning (e.g., Level 2 or Level 3) is preferred but not essential.
• A commitment to safeguarding and child welfare.
