Ortus Recruitment is looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join a thriving Primary School, supporting a Year 2 class in a warm and welcoming environment. The Headteacher is eager to bring on board an energetic and compassionate individual who is ready to make a real difference.

Your Role:

As a Teaching Assistant, you will:

• Provide personalised support to students through one-on-one and small group work
• Assist the Class Teacher in planning and delivering engaging lessons
• Monitor and report on pupil progress, helping them reach their full potential
• Encourage positive behaviour and create a nurturing learning environment
• Contribute to a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom experience

What We’re Looking For:

The ideal candidate will have:

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• A degree or a strong academic background
• A positive, flexible, and proactive attitude
• The ability to build strong relationships with students, colleagues, and parents/carers
• A commitment to full-time work, Monday to Friday
