Ortus Recruitment is delighted to be partnering with a vibrant primary school in Tulse Hill, who are seeking a dedicated and experienced Early Years Educator (EYFS Practitioner) to join their EYFS team. This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified practitioner to support and inspire young learners in a dynamic and nurturing environment.

About the Role
As an EYFS Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with the EYFS team of talented staff to deliver exceptional education and care within the Early Years/Reception Class. You will act as a key person for a small group of children, providing personalized support and planning engaging activities to help them thrive in their learning journey.

The role involves leading daily activities, promoting children’s independence and confidence, and helping create a stimulating and supportive learning environment. With weekly non-contact time, you will have the opportunity to plan and develop activities and engage with colleagues to continually improve the learning experience.

What We’re Looking For

• Level 3 Early Years childcare qualification (full and relevant, as recognised by the DfE).
• Experience working with children in a nursery or school setting, ideally with year-round provision.
• A proactive, flexible approach and ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• A commitment to creating an inspiring and nurturing learning environment for children.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
• A passion for supporting children’s development and helping them become confident, independent learners.
• A positive attitude towards teamwork, with the ability to adapt and collaborate effectively.
• A commitment to safeguarding, equalities, and the well-being of all children.
