Salary: £90 – £100 Per Day

About the role:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Teaching Assistant to work in a Reception class, providing 1:1 support for a child with autism. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in a child’s early education, supporting their learning, development, and wellbeing in a nurturing school environment.

Key responsibilities:

• Provide 1:1 support to a child with autism in a Reception class.
• Assist with learning activities, communication, and social skills.
• Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to deliver tailored support.
• Encourage independence, confidence, and positive engagement in the classroom.
• Support the child’s emotional and behavioural needs with patience and care.

About you:

• Experience supporting children with autism or additional needs is desirable.
• A positive, patient, and resilient approach to working with young children.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• A genuine passion for supporting children in their early learning journey.
