The school:

Our partnered mainstream primary school currently offers learning provisions for two groups of 26 children. The first class called Opal who attends from Monday – Wednesday mornings and a second class called Moonstone, who attends from Wednesday – Friday afternoons.

As an Early Years Teaching Assistant, you will be required to support the class teacher with fun activities and a range of learning opportunities that build upon the foundations that are learnt at home. Our partnered school has an exceptional and dynamic team of dedicated nursery staff, who would like a team player that can work collaboratively to ensure a seamless transition between Nursery and Reception. This is an excellent opportunity for a candidate with experience working with Early Years and would like to transition working with Early Years in a mainstream primary school setting.

Working hours are from 8.30am – 4.00pm, Monday to Friday (Full-time), term time only.

Requirements:

• Experience and knowledge of the EYFS
• Experience as a Teaching Assistant
• Proactive, reliable and flexible
• Comfortable supporting SEN (desirable)
• Must be available full-time and long-term
• Strong academic background
• Ability to deliver learning across the EYFS curriculum
