Ortus Recruitment are looking for an Early Years Teaching Assistant for a lovely, Ofsted rated ‘Outstanding’ 3 form Primary School in Barnet, to join the team as soon as possible.

The school benefits from a great reputation, is well resourced, with a range of facilities and extra-curricular activities to engage in. You will be working alongside talented and experienced individuals and supported by a welcoming and very proficient leadership team.

Requirements:

We are looking for a proactive and nurturing individual with the required skills to support children within the EYFS framework and aid in their creative and social development. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with young children, with an engaging and creative approach towards the children.

About the role:

The Early Years Teaching Assistant role entails supporting the teacher in all areas of the curriculum including lesson planning and preparation, supervising extracurricular activities and supporting the pupils on a one-to-one and small group basis when required.

• Have a fully enhanced DBS on the update service OR be willing to apply for one
• Provide proof of right to work in the UK
• Can provide 2 References
• Have an EYFS related qualification i.e; CACHE level 3/ NNEB
• Have experience working within the EYFS framework (desirable)
