Ortus Recruitment are looking for an energetic, passionate and caring person to light up children’s faces at our partnered mainstream primary school each and every day. The ideal candidate will require a huge smile, bags of patience, a good sense of humour!

As an Early Years Teaching Assistant, you will be required to support the class teacher with fun activities and a range of learning opportunities that build upon the foundations that are learnt at home. Our partnered school has an exceptional and dynamic team of dedicated nursery staff, who would like a team player that can work collaboratively to ensure a seamless transition between Nursery and Reception. This is an excellent opportunity for a candidate with experience working with Early Years and would like to transition working with Early Years in a mainstream primary school setting.

Working hours are from 8.30am – 4.00pm, Monday to Friday (Full-time), term time only.

Requirements:

• Experience and knowledge of the EYFS
• Experience as a Teaching Assistant
• Proactive, reliable and flexible
• Comfortable supporting SEN (desirable)
• Must be available full-time and long-term
• Strong academic background
• Ability to deliver learning across the EYFS curriculum
