Ortus Recruitment is delighted to offer an exciting position for an Early Years Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant primary school in Brentford. This full-time role, starting in September, involves providing essential 1:1 support to a Nursery student with special educational needs (SEN).

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide dedicated 1:1 support to a Nursery student with SEN, helping them to engage fully in classroom activities
• Collaborate with the class teacher to plan and deliver age-appropriate and engaging lessons
• Facilitate small group activities aimed at developing early literacy, numeracy, and social skills
• Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages the student’s confidence and independence
• Track and report on the student’s progress, adjusting support strategies as needed in collaboration with the SENCO

Requirements:
