Exciting Teaching Assistant Opportunity – Outstanding Primary School in Croydon

Position Details:

• Hours: 8:30 am – 4:00 pm (Monday to Friday)
• Pay: £85 – £100 per day (PAYE, depending on experience)

Your Role:

• Provide tailored, one-on-one support to a Year 2 student, helping them thrive both academically and personally.
• Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging and creative lessons.
• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment where every child feels supported and inspired.
• Help manage classroom behaviour, promoting active participation and positive engagement.
• Support the development of a safe, nurturing, and stimulating classroom space.

What We’re Looking For:

• A positive, can-do attitude and an approachable, friendly nature.
• Excellent communication skills – both verbal and written.
• A genuine passion for children’s learning and development.
• Reliability, punctuality, and the ability to stay calm under pressure.
• Patience, adaptability, and a collaborative spirit.

Desirable (But Not Essential):

• Experience in tutoring, mentoring, or educational support roles.
• Background in special education or related fields.
• Proven ability to build strong relationships with students, staff, and parents.
