EXP SEN Teaching Assistant | EN3 | £90-£110 PAYE | Immediate Start

Ortus Recruitment is closely working with mainstream primary school who seek an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team. Our partnered mainstream primary school is based in Brimsdown, London Brough of Enfield that has a ‘Good’ Ofsted rating and has a friendly team of staff who are supportive and will make you feel very welcome and valued from day one. This role will be a full-time position (Monday to Friday, 08:30 am – 3:30 pm).

you will be required to work 1:1 with a child who has low functioning Autism and is very energetic. you will need to support them academically and socially.

Requirements:

• A degree or relevant qualifications in Education, Maths, English, Sciences, Psychology
• Must have worked previously in a ARP, SEN school, or a PRU
• Must be able to work 1:1
• Must have experience with Austism
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Must be able to undergo a full Enhanced DBS check
