Are you an experienced EYFS or KS1 Teaching Assistant looking for the opportunity to support children with their learning and development?

This mainstream, inclusive Primary School is looking for a EYFS and KS1 SEN Teaching Assistant, who is proactive, encouraging and enthusiastic to support amongst their EYFS and KS1 classrooms, aiding the classroom teacher and supporting children with additional needs.

Main Responsibilities:

• Ability to take initiative, be proactive and resilient
• Work alongside class teachers to manage classroom behaviour, keep classrooms organised and liaise with parents/carers
• Support on a 1:1 basis with a child on the spectrum
• Lead numeracy, phonics and literacy interventions in small groups to raise low attainment levels
• Engage pupils with the EYFS and KS1 curriculum
