This role is  Full time – long term role, from 8:30am – 4pm, with an hour lunch break, so if you are applying for this it is vital to have this availability.

Ortus Recruitment are looking for a committed Teaching Assistant, who is ready to come in everyday and support pupils across EYFS and Reception. The successful candidate will have experience working with younger children in a professional setting.

Within this role you will be responsible for working 1:1 and in small groups with children who struggle to maintain calm behaviour in the classroom. You will be required to support them with their work and help to encourage a positive attitude to learning. You will be required to support 2 students, one in EYFS and one in Reception. Your day will be split into 2, in the morning you will be working with the EYFS learner and in the afternoon you will be supporting the Reception learner.

In order to be considered for this role, you will need :

• Strong academic background
• Must be able to commit to full time, long term
•  Must be able to reliable commute to the Primary School
• Must have a clear Enhanced Child Workforce DBS, or be willing to process one through Ortus Recruitment (£52)
