Job Summary:

• Mainstream Primary School
• £90 – £100 per day, PAYE – No hidden agency/umbrella company fees
• Full time, Long term role throughout the academic year

Here at Ortus Recruitment we are seeking an experienced EYFS Teaching Assistant to join one of our Mainstream Primary Schools on full time, long term basis.

Must have:

• Enhanced Child Workforce DBS on the update service or be willing to process one through Ortus Recruitment – £52
• Two obtainable childcare relevant references
• A minimum Grade C in GCSE English and Math

Requirements:

• Strong academic background, minimum Grade C in GCSE English and Math
• Experience working with children
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Attention to detail and strong organisational skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Working as a General Teaching Assistant supporting a class of Pre Reception children (3/4 Year olds)
• Supporting children in their social activities, including facilitating communications and interactions with peers
• Monitoring and tracking of the child, as well as feeding back information about the students day to both the class teacher and parents/carers
• Assisting with the development of strategies and accommodations to support the learning and success
• Undertaking administrative duties such as photocopying/laminating
