Job Description

Ortus recruitment are looking for a Teaching Assistant to work with children who have Profound & Multiple Learning Disabilities (PMLD) in Wandsworth. This role is a full-time, long term job that has great potential of becoming a permanent placement.

In this role you’ll be supporting a wide variety of children who have Down’s Syndrome and Autism (ASD/ASC). You’ll have the opportunity to work with the children 1:1 to interact and build a relationship with them as well as involving them inside group activities.

Using your skills, you will develop these children to socialise with each other and create bonds and relationships. If this is something you could do this is the right role for yourself.

It’s a great PMLD school, with friendly staff who are more than willing to help/assist you. The school has some great resources as well to help you create activities or work for your children, this will help develop their induvial skills.

Salary: £85-95 per day, paid weekly.
