Job Description

Ortus recruitment are looking for a SEN teaching assistant in the Sutton area. In this role you’ll be working with children who have (MLD) Moderate Learning Difficulties, you’ll be working with a group of children inside a classroom making sure that they socialise with each other and help them develop their skills.

This is a full-time, long-term role which will also help you develop and help build your carer path. You’ll be supporting children with a range of SEN needs, including ASC, Down’s Syndrome and Global Delay.

We always make sure that the child is the one who always comes first, this is to make sure that they’re always developing their skills. Your main goal is to make sure that the child feels comfortable in the environment they’re working in, you will need to create a bond with the children you’re working with.
