Ortus Recruitment are liaising with a mainstream, Ofsted-rated ‘good‘ school in the Borough of Hillingdon. It is a large primary school with modern facilities and on-site parking as well as public transportation links nearby to ensure easy accessibility.

This would be a fantastic opportunity for a recent graduate or someone with classroom experience as you will be expected to be able to engage all children regardless of age, ability or background. As a general TA you will work across a range of classes anywhere from Year 1 all the way to Year 6 therefore being flexible and reliable is key.

The role:

You will be working alongside the class Teachers, supporting them in the planning, preparation and delivery of lesson material, compiling progress reports, marking homework and supervising lunchtime and outdoor activities. You may also be required to work on a small group or 1:1 basis with children who have SEN or low attainment.

**Candidates must be able to commit to a long-term and full-time role (Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 3:30pm)**

The IDEAL Teaching Assistant will:

• have experience supporting children in KS1 and/or KS2
• minimum 2:2 degree in relevant subject
• have strong numeracy/literacy skills
• have adept knowledge of the curriculum
• be able to provide: an enhanced DBS (or willing to apply for one through Ortus Recruitment), proof of Right to Work in the UK and 2 references
