The Job Role:

· Position: Graduate Learning Mentor

· Pay: £80 – £90 per day PAYE – No hidden Agency/Umbrella company fees

· Location: Lewisham, Southwark

· Role: Full time, Long term

The ideal candidate will:

· Be able to commit to full time, long term work (Monday – Friday, 08:30 – 16:00) and start immediately

· Will have a strong academic background, educated to degree level

· Will have experience working alongside children

· Will have two obtainable childcare relevant references

· Will have a clear Enhanced Child Workforce DBS on the Update Service or be willing to process one through Ortus Recruitment – £52

Within this role, the responsibilities for the successful candidate will be required to assist the Class Teacher in supporting a Year 6 class who are preparing for their SATS. Your main role will be to lead 1:1 and small group interventions to raise the academic attainment level of the learners requiring additional support in core subjects. You will be required to liaise with the Class Teacher to ensure the pupils are receiving the necessary support and to provide feedback on pupil progress.
