Ortus Recruitment is working with a primary school based in Clapham, Lambeth who are seeking a Graduate Teaching Assistant for a long term role.

The Graduate Teaching Assistant will be supporting SEN pupils in class, 1:1 and in small groups. The pupils require support with moderate to severe learning difficulties including autism and SEMH.

The role -Teaching Assistant

• Work in a variety of ages and abilities
• Learn about the curriculum and teaching techniques
• Gain experience supporting SEN – ASC & SEMH
• Great support from class teachers and SENCO
• Supportive and welcoming Leadership Team

Requirements – Teaching Assistant

• Recently graduated
• Proactive, reliable, committed and have a ‘can do’ attitude
• Experience supporting SEN in any environment e.g. Youth Work | Nanny | Tutoring | Childcare | Voluntarily
• Ability to work well as part of a team
• Willing to be flexible and go the ‘extra mile’
