Ortus Recruitment is excited to announce an opportunity for a graduate who has studied within the field of education, psychology, or other relevant subjects to take on the fulfilling role of KS1/KS2 Teaching Assistant in a lovely, inclusive Primary School based in Gipsy Hill.

The school is passionate and dedicated to the education and development of all its pupils and needs a Teaching Assistant who shares the same ethos and values. The successful candidate will be charismatic, proactive, and committed to contributing to quality learning. This role will also involve the opportunity to work on a 1:1 basis with children with special needs.

Teaching Assistant Expectations:

• 2-6 months experience working with children (desirable)
• Minimum 2:2 grade in education, psychology or other relevant degree (desirable)
• Strong literacy and numeracy skills
• Understanding of the curriculum (desirable)
• Must be able to provide: an enhanced DBS (or willing to apply for one through Ortus Recruitment), proof of Right to Work in the UK and 2 references
