The Role – SEN Teaching Assistant

This full-time position is perfect for someone looking to build experience in education while making a real difference. You will be supporting pupils with Autism, learning difficulties, and communication needs in a structured and nurturing environment.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Working 1:1 and in small groups with SEN pupils
• Supporting learning activities and adapting tasks where needed
• Assisting the class teacher with lesson preparation and delivery
• Encouraging positive behaviour and engagement
• Helping pupils build confidence, independence, and social skills

• Recent Graduate
• Someone who is friendly, patient, and approachable
• A strong communicator with good interpersonal skills
• Motivated, resilient, and keen to support children to achieve their best
• Able to follow guidance but also use initiative when needed
• Interested in pursuing a career in teaching or education

Our partnered SEN primary school in Wandsworth provides a supportive and inclusive setting where staff are committed to helping every child succeed. You’ll be part of a dedicated team focused on delivering high-quality support and care.

Benefits

• £90 – £105 per day (PAYE)
• Full-time role (Monday to Friday)
