Ortus recruitment are currently looking for a recent graduate to work in our partner Primary School in Croydon as a Graduate Teaching Assistant.

The school has an Ofsted ‘Good’ for their last report, with great facilities and a strong leadership team who aim to provide high quality standards of education.

The successful candidate will be passionate about the learning of pupils, has a degree in education or any other relevant qualification.

We are looking for someone who comes across friendly and welcoming and can also communicate clearly and effectively with teachers and pupils.

The role will consist of working alongside a class teacher, helping to plan and prepare lessons as well as getting involved in class activity and managing classroom behaviour.

You will be expected to work in groups and on a 1 to 1 basis with pupils who may need additional help with work.

We are looking for

· An individual with a degree in education or any other relevant qualification.

· Someone able to communicate clearly and effectively with teachers and pupils.

· Experience working with children but not essential.

· An individual who is patient and reliable.

· Great work ethic.

Requirements

· Able to work full time.

· Fully Enhanced Child Workforce DBS on the Update service or be willing to process a new one.
