The school is looking for a recent graduate of psychology, childhood studies, drama, or other relevant subjects to join their motivating team and support children amongst KS1 and KS2 to help raise attainment, manage behaviour and supervise play/lunch times. The ideal candidate will also have experience working with children in a classroom setting.

The role:

As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with the teacher to provide support to the students in the classroom. You will help students learn the material by providing extra instruction, support, and guidance. You will also help to monitor the students’ progress and give feedback to the teacher. We are looking for someone who has a strong academic background, good interpersonal skills, and a passion for education. You must also be patient and have excellent communication and organizational skills.

Main Expectations:

• 3+ months experience supporting in the classroom
• Have a minimum 2:2 degree in a relevant subject e.g. psychology or education
• Strong communication skills
• Can-do attitude
• Must be able to provide: an enhanced DBS (or willing to apply for one through Ortus Recruitment), proof of Right to Work in the UK and 2 references
