Ortus recruitment are currently looking for a qualified individual for a Graduate Teaching Assistant in Crystal palace.

The ideal candidate should have previous experience working in schools and have good knowledge of the Primary School EYFS, KS1 and KS2 curriculum.

The role consists of helping teachers organise lessons, whilst also identifying the needs of every individual pupil. They must be able to use their key skills and experience, to get involved in class activities and support children with their learning and development as well as their health and educational needs.

The school is Ofsted ‘Outstanding’ located in the vibrant area of Crystal palace, which offers a great community and many links to public transport.

• £70 – £85 per day (PAYE!)

We are looking for

• An individual who has previous experience working in schools and with SEN.
• A confident individual who comes across friendly and welcoming toward staff and pupils.
• An individual who can communicate effectively with staff and pupils.
• A hardworking individual able to work well under pressure 1:1 and in groups.
• Good knowledge of the Primary school curriculum
• Great work ethic

Requirements

• Able to work full time (Monday to Friday)
• Right to work in UK
• 2 relevant references
• Have an enhanced child DBS on update service
