Our partnered mainstream primary school is looking to appoint an enthusiastic and skilled Graduate Teaching Assistant to support throughout the school till the end of the academic year. We are looking for a graduate with strong literacy and mathematics skills who can provide full support to pupils across KS1 & KS2 classes. A graduate who is committed to ensuring that all pupils they work with receive the highest standards of teaching and support. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who is considering a career in teaching or for someone qualified but seeking further school experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Working with pupils in supporting the teacher and other academic mentors across all subjects and lessons
• Ensure all pupils are happy and engaged in their work
• Feeding back to the class teacher to monitor progress and any issues
• The successful graduate must:
• Have a degree/predicted with a 2:1 or above
• Be passionate about education
• Be able to inspire and motivate
• Have high expectations for students learning achievement and behaviour
• Be creative and approachable
