Ortus Recruitment is looking to recruit a Graduate Teaching Assistant who is committed to providing learning support to pupils and small groups who need it most in our partnered primary school based in Clapham Junction. We need exceptional graduates who will be inspirational role models to our pupils and work with both teachers and the wider school community to establish a supportive and nurturing learning environment in which children make rapid academic progress. This is a fantastic opportunity for graduates wishing to pursue a career in primary teaching.

Requirements:

• A degree in any subject (education-related degrees are a bonus).
• A genuine passion for working with children and supporting their educational journey.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A proactive, positive, and flexible approach to classroom support.
• The ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently when required.
• Previous experience working with children (voluntary or paid) is advantageous but not essential.
• An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply for one.

Qualifications:

• A minimum of a 2:2 degree in any subject.
• Strong academic background, particularly in core subjects like English, Maths, or Science.
