Ortus Recruitment is working in partnership with a highly regarded mainstream primary school located within the London Borough of Lambeth. The school has been rated ‘Outstanding’ by Ofsted and benefits from excellent transport connections and a vibrant local community. They are now seeking a Graduate Teaching Assistant who is enthusiastic about supporting young learners and keen to develop a long-term career in education.

This role will involve supporting pupils across the primary age range, including children with additional learning needs. You will work both one-to-one and within the classroom, collaborating closely with teaching staff to ensure pupils are supported academically, socially, and emotionally.

The school offers a positive and energetic working environment, supported by experienced teachers and an approachable leadership team.

Candidate Profile:

• Previous experience working with children aged 3–11 in a professional setting
• A degree in a core or relevant subject (e.g. English, Maths, Science, Psychology, Education, Performing Arts)
• An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply
• Strong communication skills
• Good organisation and time management
• A genuine interest in supporting children, particularly those who may be vulnerable or require additional support
• Full-time availability, Monday to Friday (8:30am – 4:00pm)
