Ortus Recruitment are seeking a Graduate Teaching Assistant for a primary school located in the London Borough of Barnet. The ideal applicant will possess a level 3 qualification, be passionate about working with children, and have prior classroom experience. The role consists of helping teachers organise and deliver lessons, hold small group sessions as well as supporting individual pupils when required.

This role would be perfect for an aspiring primary teacher or someone who wants to forge a career within SEN. The incredibly approachable and friendly Senior leadership team have a great track record supporting Graduate Teaching Assistants to go on to complete their teacher training and become successful teachers.

To be considered, you will need to be strong in English, Maths and the whole national curriculum, have the ability to run intervention groups, be comfortable supporting SEN and have a flexible attitude.

Candidates must:

• Have a Level 3 Teaching qualification/ equivalent
• Proof of right to work in UK
• An enhanced DBS on the update service/ be willing to apply
• Provide 2 References
• Be able to work full-time (Mon-Fri)
• Be proactive and enthusiastic
• Be passionate about working with children
